Mashail Arif

Mashail Arif has a diverse work experience in the field of energy efficiency and engineering. Mashail is currently working as a Sr. Energy Efficiency Engineer - Outreach at Cascade Energy, Inc. Mashail previously worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Taylor Engineering from November 2020 to August 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Sr. Solutions Engineer and Solutions Engineer in the Energy Modeling Group at Carbon Lighthouse from January 2020 to September 2020 and from November 2017 to January 2020 respectively. Mashail also worked as a Sr. Energy Engineer and Energy Engineer at Itron, Inc. from March 2016 to November 2017 and from June 2017 to June 2017 respectively. Mashail Arif's work experience also includes being an Energy Manager at the Town of Chelmsford from August 2014 to November 2015, a Graduate Student Instructor at UC Berkeley from August 2013 to May 2014, a Regional Environmental Intern at the Department of the Interior, Office of Environmental Policy and Compliance from June 2013 to August 2013, a Sustainability Director at Associated Students of the University of California from August 2012 to May 2013, and an Energy Education Intern at UC Berkeley HPG Project from February 2012 to May 2013.

Mashail Arif completed their education at the University of California, Berkeley. From 2009 to 2013, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Environmental Science. Following that, from 2013 to 2014, they pursued their Masters of Science (M.S.) in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the same institution. In January 2020, they obtained their certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) from the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists.
