Matt Jensen

Matt Jensen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Matt currently works at Cascade Energy, Inc as the Aquafficiency Program Manager, where they lead a team focused on improving efficiency and reducing environmental impact in water and wastewater systems. Matt also worked as a Strategic Energy Management Coach and Project Manager at Cascade Energy, assisting municipalities and special districts in reducing their energy usage.

Prior to their role at Cascade Energy, Jensen was an Owner/Operator at Dickey's Barbecue Pit and served as a City Councilman in North Salt Lake City. Matt also had experience in the music industry as a Musician in the 23rd Army Band.

Their earlier career involved positions at Mountain West Process Engineering as Vice President, Advanced Process Control and Optimization (APCO) as Engineering Manager, DuPont - P&IP as Support Engineer, and DuPont - Performance Coatings as a Project Engineer. In these roles, they focused on process improvements, project management, and cost reduction initiatives.

Matt Jensen attended Alta High School from 1990 to 1993, where they completed their high school education. Afterward, they enrolled at the University of Utah and pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Chemical Engineering from 1993 to 2000. Simultaneously, they also studied Spanish at the University of Utah, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in the same time period.
