Tom Simenc has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. In 2008, they worked as a Manager at the Boise State Outdoor Program, where they organized and led adventure expeditions for students and employees. From 2009 to 2012, they were an Instructor at The College of Idaho. In 2011, they served as a Research Assistant at the Center for Advanced Energy Studies. In 2012, they worked as an Energy Assessor at the CEERI Industrial Assessment Center, where they conducted energy use assessments for industrial complexes. From 2013 to 2014, they held the roles of Program & Budget Director and Mathematics and Physics Teacher at World Class Academy. In 2015, they became a Refrigeration Engineer at CTA Architects Engineers, and in 2018, they joined Cascade Energy, Inc. as a Senior Project Engineer.
Tom Simenc completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Boise State University from 2007 to 2012. In December 2019, they obtained a Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the State of Idaho - Board of Licensure of Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors.
