Melissa Wear-Grimm

Melissa Wear-Grimm, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has a diverse work experience in human resources and volunteer roles. Melissa currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Cascade Medical since March 2020. Before that, they worked as the Director of Human Resources at Crunch Pak from January 2014 to March 2020. Melissa also volunteered at the American Cancer Society from January 2000 to 2016. Melissa held the position of President - Volunteer at Wenatchee Valley Personnel Management Group from August 2013 to July 2014. Additionally, Melissa worked as an HR Consultant - Contract at Central Washington University from October 2013 to January 2014. Prior to that, they served as the Human Resources Manager at Souriau PA&E from November 1997 to July 2013. Melissa was also the Past President of AVHRA from January 2009 to December 2010.

Melissa Wear-Grimm, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from California State University, Fullerton, obtained from 1988 to 1992. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's degree in General studies from Orange Coast College, completed from 1986 to 1988.

In terms of certifications, Melissa obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in September 2019. In 2015, they achieved the certification of SHRM-SCP from SHRM. Other certifications include Achieve Global's Leadership & Customer Service - Deliver and Develop Level certification in 2013, 40 hours Basic Mediation certification from Wenatchee Valley Dispute Resolution Center in 2013, and SPHR certification from the HR Certification Institute in 2010. Melissa also earned the PHR certification from the HR Certification Institute in January 2002.
