Neil Falk

Associate Medical Director at Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare

Dr. Falk graduated with high distinction from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor campus) with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, as well as earning his MD. He completed a residency in Psychiatry at Oregon Health & Science University, where he served as Chief Resident. He has been involved in the Multnomah County community mental health system since 1992, working at many levels of the system including outreach work, crisis intervention, urgent care, inpatient and outpatient services, residential care, administration, and academia.

He has been recognized both locally and nationally for his work and has served as a consultant to both local and state departments of behavioral health and addictions. In addition to his work at Cascadia, he is also clinical faculty and Assistant Director of the nationally recognized Public Psychiatry Training Program at Oregon Health & Science University. He also works as the main psychiatrist for the Multnomah County EASA program, providing clinical services for 15- to 25-year-old clients experiencing first episodes of psychosis. Throughout his work, he has striven to create cooperation and collaboration between all stakeholders in the public mental health system.
