Alex is a forester, data scientist, and technology entrepreneur. He has lived a low-carbon life and worked for low-carbon businesses at the intersection of climate change, code, and cryptography for over a decade throughout the Cascadia bioregion. Through these experiences and his education (a Master’s Degree in Natural Resources from Humboldt State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Colorado College), Alex has developed acute expertise in the relationship between forest management and the atmosphere. Cascadia Carbon combines Alex’s ecological orientation with innovative machine learning algorithms and AI to solve problems for businesses and individuals alike.
