Bernd Langpap

Bernd Langpap has extensive work experience in software development and engineering. Bernd currently holds the position of Head of Software Development at CASCINATION AG, a role they have been in since March 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at the same company from January 2021 to March 2021. Before joining CASCINATION AG, Bernd worked at Airbus from March 2020 to January 2021 as a CC&D System Engineer. Bernd also had a long tenure at Airbus Defence and Space, where they held various positions including Software Engineer from January 2011 to March 2020, Junior Development Engineer from October 2008 to December 2010, and Trainee/Student from September 2004 to September 2008. Additionally, Bernd worked as a Researcher at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) from January 2016 to July 2019.

Bernd Langpap holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering, which they obtained from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2010. Prior to that, they attended Fachhochschule Oldenburg/Ostfriesland/Wilhelmshaven from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Dipl.-Ing. (FH) degree in Information Technology. In addition to their formal education, Langpap has obtained several certifications, including Certified Professional for Software Architecture, Specialist Medical Software, Convolutional Neural Networks, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Improving Deep Neural Networks, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Certified ScrumMaster, Six Sigma Green Belt, and Certificate of Proficiency in English.
