Cole Dobson

Cole Dobson is an experienced product designer with a demonstrated history of developing innovative CAD workflows and design solutions across various industries. Currently employed at Case•Mate since April 2017, Cole successfully created a parametric Solidworks CAD workflow that enhanced design throughput to keep pace with frequent mobile device launches. Previous positions include mechanical designer at ViaSat Inc., where Cole focused on creating 3D models and design documentation for precision electro-mechanical assemblies, and designer at General Dynamics Satcom, where Cole specialized in the design of satellite communications equipment. Cole's earlier roles involved producing custom designs in the defense sector, optimizing manufacturing processes, and generating technical documentation. Cole holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from Savannah College of Art and Design and an Associate of Science from Georgia State University Perimeter College.
