Abby Mitchell

Abby Mitchell currently serves as the Vice President of Development Administration and Strategic Engagement at Case Western Reserve University, a position held since January 2020. In addition, Abby is the owner of Barkley Real Estate Group, operational since July 2018. Previous roles include Chief Development Officer at The Cleveland Orchestra from July 2016 to July 2018, and Executive Director of Medical Development & Alumni Relations at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine from December 2014 to July 2016, where responsibilities included principal gift fundraising and coordinating educational initiative fundraising programs. Abby also held positions at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center as Assistant Vice President of Development and at Cleveland Clinic as Senior Director of Development and Director of Development. Abby began a career at Columbus Children's Hospital as Senior Director of Annual Giving. Educational qualifications include a Master of Healthcare Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The Ohio State University.
