Carl Tyler, MD, MSc, currently serves as a Professor of Family Medicine & Community Health at Case Western Reserve University since 2020. In addition, Carl Tyler is the Founder and Director of the Developmental Disabilities Practice-Based Research Network, a role held since 2013. Carl Tyler has directed Geriatric Education & Research at the Cleveland Clinic Family Medicine Residency since January 2001 and has been a Medical Educator at Fairview Hospital / Cleveland Clinic since January 1995. Academically, Carl Tyler's education includes an MD from Northeast Ohio Medical University, fellowships in Academic Medicine and Practice-Based Research Design and Methodology, and a Master of Science in Clinical Research with a focus on Aging and Disability from Case Western Reserve University.
