Emmitt Jolly serves as a Professor of Biology at Case Western Reserve University, where professional experience includes roles as Associate Professor of Biology and Associate Professor in the Center for Global Health and Disease at the Case School of Medicine. Jolly holds the position of President of the Shaker Heights Board of Education and has been a Board Member since 2020. In addition, Jolly has served as Treasurer for The Association of Underrepresented Minority Fellows since 2007. Previous experience includes postdoctoral fellowships at the University of California, San Francisco, and award recipient status as a UNCF/Merck Fellow. Educational qualifications comprise a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, San Francisco, and a BS in Biology from Tuskegee University.
