Eric Kaler is the current president of Case Western Reserve University. Prior to this, they served as vice president for Brookhaven Affairs at Stony Brook University from January 2007 to December 2011. Before that, they were dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Delaware from January 1989 to December 2007. Eric was also an associate professor of chemical engineering at the University of Washington from January 1982 to December 1989, and a professor of chemical engineering and materials science at the University of Minnesota from January 2011 to December 2021. Eric began their career as a research and teaching assistant at the University of Minnesota from January 1978 to December 1982.
Eric Kaler received their PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and their BS in Chemical Engineering from Caltech.
