Faruk H. Örge, MD, EMBA, FAAP, FAAO, currently serves as Vice President Elect for the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus since March 2025. Since December 2007, Faruk has been the Director of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at UH Case Medical Center and a Professor of Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, and Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University. Additionally, Faruk held the position of Past President at IPOSC since July 2020 and was an Assistant Professor and Pediatric Ophthalmologist at Yeditepe University from 2005 to 2007. Earlier career experiences include a Research Fellow at Orbis International and a Research Fellowship at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. Faruk's education includes an Executive MBA from the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business, along with various public health and ophthalmology training from reputable institutions.
