Matthew K. Weiland

Matthew K. Weiland is a seasoned writer, producer, and digital media director with extensive experience in educational content creation and digital media design. Currently affiliated with Case Western Reserve University since March 2013, Weiland's responsibilities include hosting webinars, producing educational materials for the Center for Innovative Practices, and developing the Wraparoundohio.org website. A consultant in digital media and design, Weiland has contributed to the Cuyahoga County Sexual Assault Kit Initiative reports and collaborated with Cleveland's Premier Pediatrics to produce "Little Player Got Game," a storybook video for young audiences. Prior roles include serving as Senior Writer/Producer at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, where Weiland built an audio resource library, and as a contributing editor for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Additionally, Weiland has rich teaching experience, having instructed English composition at Cuyahoga Community College for over a decade. Weiland holds a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Cleveland State University and The New School.
