Travis T. Apgar

Travis T. Apgar currently serves as the Vice President for Student Affairs at Case Western Reserve University, a position held since July 2024. With extensive experience in student life, Apgar previously held several roles at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, including Associate Vice President for Student Life and Dean of Students, and Assistant Vice President for Student Life and Dean of Students from January 2017 to July 2024. Prior to this, Apgar was the Robert G. Engel Senior Associate Dean of Students at Cornell University and also served as the Associate Dean of Students/Sr. Judicial Administrator at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Since February 2006, Apgar has been a speaker with CAMPUSPEAK. Academic qualifications include a BA and two MS degrees from the University at Albany, completed between 1996 and 2003, in Psychology, Educational Psychology, and Educational Administration. Education began at Notre Dame High School in Elmira, NY, where a high school diploma was earned in 1990.
