Maarten van Tjonger

Maarten van Tjonger has extensive work experience in software engineering. Maarten is currently working as a Full-Stack Software Engineer and Director at Casebook PBC, starting in November 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Digitas North America as a Lead Software Engineer from March 2016 to November 2019. From January 2013 to March 2016, they worked at MRY as a Senior Software Engineer. Before that, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer at LBi US from June 2012 to January 2013 and from January 2011 to May 2012. Additionally, they worked at Avanade as a Solution Developer from July 2007 to December 2010. Maarten also has experience as a Software Engineer at OTS International from 2005 to 2007. At the start of their career, they worked as a self-employed Software Engineer, where they developed a reporting tool for Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Security from January 2000 to May 2000.

Maarten van Tjonger pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, they completed various certifications in the field of computer programming and development. In 2014, they obtained the Adobe Experience Manager: Developer certification from Adobe. In 2013, they achieved the EPiServer Certified Developer certification, and in 2012, they completed the Sitecore CMS 6 Developer Quickstart certification from Sitecore. Furthermore, in 2010, they earned three certifications: Microsoft .NET Framework - Application Development Foundation, Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, ASP.NET Application Development, and Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, Windows Forms Application Development, all from New Horizons Computer Learning Centers.
