Alex Chin

Alex Chin has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Alex has held positions such as Vice President of Internal Audit at Casella Waste Systems, Inc., Director of Internal Audit and Member Diversity and Inclusion Committee at Regal Rexnord, and Director of Internal Audit and Member Diversity and Inclusion Committee at Altra Industrial Motion (acquired by Regal Rexnord). Prior to these roles, Alex worked at Boston Beer Company as a Manager in Risk Management and Review, and at Ernst & Young as a Manager in Transaction Advisory Services. Alex also has experience as an Assurance Manager, Senior, and Staff at BDO USA, LLP, and as an Assistant Controller at Bruner/Cott and Associates, Inc. Additionally, they held positions at Great Northeast Productions as an Information Director/ADA Compliance Officer, and at Colby College as an Associate Director of Student Activities.

Alex Chin attended Duxbury High School but the information regarding the degree and field of study is not available. After completing high school, Alex graduated from Colby College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Administrative Science. Alex then obtained several certifications, including Certified Public Accountant from the State of Massachusetts in January 2006, Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) from AICPA in July 2013, Six Sigma White Belt from Aveta Business Institute in March 2013, and CISA from ISACA in August 2018. Currently, Alex is pursuing a Masters in Information Technology with a focus on Cybersecurity at Virginia Tech, expected to be completed between 2021 and 2024.
