Clark James

Clark James has had a diverse range of work experience in various leadership roles. Starting in 1993, they worked for Browning-Ferris Industries as an Operations Manager and Senior Project Manager, overseeing transportation, construction, and landfill closure projects. Clark then joined Casella Waste Systems, Inc. in 1997 as a Business Development and Senior Account Manager, where they successfully grew the company's business and maintained existing client relationships. In 2000, they became a Division Manager at Casella Waste Systems, managing a large waste processing facility and completing complex remediation projects. In 2002, they joined York Hospital as the Director of Engineering and Facilities, implementing energy-saving strategies and founding the hospital's Sustainability Committee. In 2012, James joined Smuttynose Brewing Company as Director of Operations, leading the construction of a new production facility. Finally, in 2017, they returned to Casella Waste Systems as the Director of Operations.
