Emilio Fernández Herrero

Emilio Fernández Herrero is the Head of HR at Caser Grupo Helvetia since January 2004, overseeing people strategy and management while ensuring consistent application of policies across the group's market units. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Legal Defense and Network of Lawyers at Caser, responsible for the technical assurance of legal defense across various insurance products. Emilio has taught as a Professor at the University of Salamanca's Faculty of Insurance and held significant legal roles at MAPFRE, where responsibilities included coordinating a network of over 200 legal professionals and setting management objectives. Emilio holds a Law degree from Universidad CEU San Pablo, a Master's in Insurance and Risk Management from Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca, and completed a Management Skills Program at IE Business School in 2018.
