Alysha Acosta

Alysha Acosta currently serves as a Court Liaison at The Center for Alternative Sentencing and Employment Services (CASES) since July 2022, where responsibilities include advocating for program participants in court, developing written advocacy reports, and conducting orientations. Prior to this role, Alysha was the Program Director at Children's Aid, overseeing the design and implementation of programs to address children's educational and emotional needs. Experience as a Neuroscience Researcher and a Research Assistant highlights a strong background in research, complemented by an internship in healthcare provider engagement. Leadership roles include serving as President and Secretary for Women Everywhere Believe, focusing on mentoring young women of color in under-resourced schools. Alysha's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Columbia University and a High School Diploma in Medical Arts from Passaic County Technical-Vocational Schools.
