Nychelle Shanck

Nychelle Shanck is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in substance abuse counseling and holistic wellness. Currently serving as a Substance Use Specialist at The Center for Alternative Sentencing and Employment Services (CASES) since July 2022, Nychelle also manages Nyche Body, a business that manufactures and sells handmade, all-natural bath and body products. Previous roles include CASAC-T positions at Community Housing Innovations, Inc. and CORE Services Group, Inc., as well as an Addiction Counselor at Harlem East Life Plan-Help. Nychelle has also contributed as a Freelance Writer since 2009, providing proofreading, copy editing, and creative writing services. Educational credentials include a CASAC T degree in Substance Abuse/Addiction Counseling from the Resource Training Center and an ongoing program in TCM & Acupuncture at Pacific College of Health and Science, alongside prior degrees in Liberal Arts and a Regents Diploma.
