Sylvia Millicent Guillaume

Sylvia Millicent Guillaume is an experienced professional in social work and advocacy, currently serving as ACES Team Leader at The Center for Alternative Sentencing and Employment Services since October 2019. Previously, Sylvia held the position of Queens Borough Coordinator at Court Appointed Special Advocates of NYC and owned United Foster Parent Consultants LLC, offering professional trainings and educational workshops. Additional roles include Bronx Advocate Supervisor at Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children, Program Manager at LIFT, Inc., and Founder & Assistant Director at Fostering Progressive Advocacy Foundation Inc., where Sylvia focused on empowering parents through education and advocacy. Past experiences also include leadership positions at Black Women's Blueprint, St. Nicks Alliance, and Grand Street Settlement, as well as a social work internship at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center Child Study Center. Sylvia holds a Master of Social Work from Touro University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Adelphi University.
