Mahesh Kalyanpur

Mahesh Kalyanpur has over 35 years of work experience in various roles. Mahesh currently serves as the Chief Risk Officer and Advisor at Cashinvoice since 2021. Prior to this role, they were an Investor in seed, growth stage companies with active interest in impact projects surrounding water, livelihood, and education from 2020. From 2010 to 2020, they served as the Chief Credit - SCF, Equipment Finance, Emerging Business and Corporate Digital Lending at TATA CAPITAL. From 1994 to 2010, they were the Head of Credit at The Shamrao Vithal Co-operative Bank Limited, where they were responsible for conducting Technical feasibility & Economic viability study for the Loan proposals. Mahesh began their career in 1985 as a Senior Development Engineer in the Research & Development Division of Bush India Limited, where they were responsible for activities of Industrial Design Unit, Drawing Office, Model Shop, Vendor Development, AUTOCAD Centre, Documentation and Record Room.

Mahesh Kalyanpur obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Mumbai in 1980-1983. Mahesh then went on to obtain their B.E. in Engineering from DVIT in 1981-1985. Mahesh then obtained their MBA in Management Studies from the University of Mumbai in 1988-1990. In 2000, they obtained a certification in Import and Export Management from the Bombay Productivity Council. In 1994, they obtained a certification in Computer Programming from the Vijay Mukhi Computer Institute. In 2012, they completed a General Management Programme from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. In 2013, they obtained a certification from the Tata Management Training Centre in the Tata Group eMerging Leadership Programme.
