Sylvain Bertolus

Sylvain Bertolus has a wealth of experience in the finance and technology industries. Sylvain began their career as an Intern Analyst Developer at PAREXEL International in 2003. In 2005, they joined JP Morgan Private Bank as an Analyst in the Graduate Program, where they implemented the ITIL framework in the bank's IT department and acted as a liaison between technology operations and middle/front office representatives during high-impact incidents. In 2007, they joined Detica as a Senior Consultant, where they worked on the enhancement of IT project reporting for a global private bank. In 2008, they co-founded Newtone Associates SA, a business consulting start-up, where they served as Cofounder and head of IT and Manager. In 2012, they founded CashSentinel SA, a Fintech that processes hundreds of millions of yearly payment flows for its clients in Switzerland and Europe.

Sylvain Bertolus has a diverse educational background. Sylvain began their education in 1996, graduating from Lycée Saint-Aspais with a High School degree in Science (Bac. S) with Honours (spécialité mathématiques; mention AB). Sylvain then attended Université Paris Cité, graduating in 2002 with a DUT in IT. From 2002 to 2005 they attended Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC), earning a Master's Degree / Diplôme d'ingénieur in Computer Science. In 2004, they completed an Erasmus exchange semester at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan in IT and Economics. Sylvain also attended Harvard University in 2004, earning an ITPM Certificate in IT Project Management. In 2010, they were certified as a PMP by the Project Management Institute (PMI). Finally, in 2022, they are expected to complete a LeadiNNg to Scale-Up program at IMD in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.
