Jim Goetz

Jim Goetz has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Partner and Founder at Casimir Holdings since 2018. jim also holds the position of Partner at Bauen Capital since 2018. In 2020, they became a Partner at CURATED INVESTMENTS LLC. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Partner at Sequoia Capital since 2004, where they made significant contributions to the company. Additionally, they have served on the board of directors for several prominent companies, including Palo Alto Networks, Intel Corporation, Observable, Dashlane, Carbon 3D, and Pocket Gems.

Jim Goetz earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, which they pursued between 1983 and 1988. jim then attended Stanford University from 1988 to 1990, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Systems and Networking.
