David Balzan

David Balzan has over 20 years of experience in the software development industry. David has held various positions during their career, including Senior Software Engineer, Software Team Lead, and Head of Development. David is currently the CTO at CasinoGrounds.

David started their career in 1999 as a Technical Specialist at Megabyte Ltd. Malta. David spent 18 years at Megabyte, working their way up through the ranks. In 2017, they left Megabyte to join LottoStarlet Ltd. as their Software Team Lead. David spent a year at LottoStarlet before moving on to Leoventures in 2018.

At Leoventures, David served as Senior Software Engineer for a year before being promoted to Head of Development in 2019. David held this position for less than a year before leaving Leoventures to join CasinoGrounds as their CTO in July 2019.

David Balzan reports to Tobias Svensen, CEO. They are on a team with Andreas Andersson - CFO, Rebecca Farrugia - Head of Operations, and Kim Hultman - Co-founder/Streamer/Development Manager. Some direct reports include Dimitar Goshevski - Lead Engineer, Joana Goshevska - Lead Engineer, and Neville Camilleri - Platform Lead Engineer.
