Alexander Freilinger

Alexander Freilinger has extensive work experience in the field of internal audit, holding various management positions in different companies. Alexander is currently the Deputy Managing Director of Internal Audit at Casinos Austria AG and winwin. Prior to that, they held the position of Deputy Managing Director and Department Head of Internal Audit at tipp3 - Österreichische Sportwetten GmbH, Österreichische Lotterien, and Casinos Austria International. Alexander also served as Department Head of Internal Audit at Casinos Austria International from 2009 to 2012. Before focusing on internal audit, they worked in controlling and treasury roles at Österreichische Lotterien and win2day.

Alexander Freilinger obtained a Magister (FH) degree in Unternehmensführung/Entrepreneurship from FHWien der WKW between 2001 and 2005. In 2011, they pursued a degree in Gaming Management at the University of Nevada, Reno. Returning to education in 2018, they enrolled in a Master of Laws (LLM) program with a focus on European and International Business Law at the University of Vienna. Additionally, they hold several certifications, including Geldwäsche-Compliance Experte from Austrian Standards obtained in 2020, Zertifizierung als ISMS-Manager & -Auditor nach ISO 27001 from TÜV AUSTRIA obtained in 2018, and Datenschutzbeauftragte/r TÜV® from TÜV AUSTRIA obtained in 2016.
