Ashutosh Saxena

Ashutosh Saxena is the founder and CEO of Caspar.AI, a company that uses proprietary machine learning technology to provide financing solutions to nonprime and underbanked consumers.

Saxena has a long history in the field of computer science. Ashutosh was an assistant professor at Cornell University from 2009 to 2014, during which time they founded the Robot Learning Lab. Ashutosh's research interests include human activity anticipation, iterative learning for robots via real-world feedback, and deep learning.

In 2005, Saxena interned at Microsoft, and later that year they founded the RoboBrain project at Stanford University, which they directed until 2014. In 2013, Saxena was named a Microsoft Faculty Fellow.

Ashutosh Saxena received their PhD in Machine Learning from Stanford University, where they studied under Prof. Andrew Ng. Ashutosh also holds an MS in Computer Science from Stanford University, and a B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
