Mel Padden

Mel Padden is an accomplished technology professional with a diverse background in software engineering, developer relations, and system architecture. Currently serving as the Director of Developer Relations at Casper Association since March 2022, Mel focuses on designing SDKs and developer-centric artifacts to enhance the adoption of the Casper blockchain. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Engineer at QZabre LLC, where Mel contributed to the development of a Quantum Sensing Microscope, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Roche Diagnostics Europe, improving mobile PCR testing solutions. Additional expertise spans leading platform development at healthbank, creating financial solutions at vwd group, and consulting for major banks including Standard Chartered. Mel holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Studies from Trinity College Dublin and a Master's degree in Financial Management from The University of Salford.
