Ruchi Mehta

Ruchi is Legal counsel and is responsible for corporate advisory, legal documentation, transactional negotiations and statutory compliance. Prior to joining Caspian Equity, Ruchi worked for over 10 years with leading law firms in Mumbai and Hyderabad, where she advised domestic and offshore clients on matters pertaining to foreign and domestic investments and exits, M&A, real estate, human capital, commercial litigation and dispute resolution.

Ruchi is a gold medallist in tax laws and holds B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) from Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur. She is experienced in varied aspects of fund management and private equity transactions, from structuring to negotiating, documentation and implementation. Her practice spans a wide spectrum of corporate commercial laws which includes advising & assisting clients on matters and issues relating to employment, education, foreign direct investment, retail, manufacturing, disciplinary, workplace investigations, POSH Conciliations/inquiries and ethics.
