Brett Altman has a significant work experience in healthcare management. From 2017 to the present, Altman has been the CEO and Chief Executive Officer at Cass Health, where they oversee all operations and directs the hospital's functions. Prior to this, Altman was the President & CEO at Skiff Medical Center from 2014 to 2017, responsible for overall operations and strategic objectives. Brett Altman has a diverse education history. Brett completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology at Buena Vista University from 1983 to 1988. Following that, they pursued a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree at the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine from 1988 to 1990. Moving forward, Brett attended Temple University - Lewis Katz School of Medicine from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained their Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
Later, Brett decided to further their education by obtaining an Executive MBA degree at Grand Canyon University's Ken Blanchard School of Business, which they accomplished from 2010 to 2011.
In addition to their formal education, Brett Altman also holds various certifications. Brett became a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through NSCA in February 1996. Brett further enhanced their expertise by obtaining certifications such as Certified Athletic Trainer from NATA BOC in June 1997, Sports Certified Specialist from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in February 1997, and Orthopaedic Certified Specialist from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in June 2006. In October 2012, they obtained the FACHE certification from the American College of Healthcare Executives.
