Todd J. Wills

Todd J. Wills is the SVP & General Manager, Utilities at Cass Information Systems. Todd has held this position since April 2022. Prior to that, they were with CAS from February 2016 to April 2022, where they were responsible for strategy and P&L for the data-driven, insight-based service business serving clients in the Pharma, Biotech, Agro, and Diversified Chemical markets. Todd helped clients navigate the explored and unexplored regions of chemical space by augmenting human expertise with big data analytics and AI/ML and leveraging CAS’s proprietary molecular representations and unique indexing of chemistry-related data from patents and scientific literature.

During their time at CAS, Todd created a new molecular representation that significantly improved machine learning predictions and created a new measure of drug innovation based on structural novelty to objectively assess and recognize scientific advancements and encourage further innovation.

Before joining CAS, Todd was with Emerson from July 2006 to February 2016.

Todd J. Wills has a MBA from The Ohio State University and a BSBA in Finance and Economics from John Carroll University. Todd is also certified by the CFA Institute as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and by ASQ - World Headquarters as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.
