Bill Baker

Bill Baker has extensive experience in the IT industry, spanning over 30 years. Bill has held various roles in different companies and organizations throughout their career. Bill's most recent position is Director of IT Infrastructure at Cassia - An Augustana | Elim Affiliation, where they have been working since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Solutions Architect at the same company from March 2020.

Before joining Cassia, Bill was self-employed, working as an Information Technology Systems Architect, specializing in working with 501c3 organizations. Bill left their previous position as a Systems Architect at ePlus Inc. on excellent terms and has a diverse skill set.

Bill has also worked at Sovran, Inc. as a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer & Delivery Engineer, where they were responsible for transforming client needs into innovative IT solutions. Bill was also involved in managing technical and business concerns with customers and internal account teams.

Prior to that, Bill served as the IT Manager at Northwestern College from July 2006 to May 2012, where they oversaw IT strategy and day-to-day operations for systems, network, and telecom. Bill re-engineered the college's IT infrastructure for rapid growth while optimizing performance. Bill also designed and oversaw the construction of IT infrastructure for a new student housing building.

During their time at Pareo, Inc., Bill worked as an IT Manager and IT Architect. Bill analyzed custom client IT frameworks and designed long-term IT strategies and roadmaps. Bill also oversaw IT strategy and day-to-day operations at Northwestern College.

Bill has experience working as a consultant for Fortune 50 companies, including a project with Best Buy where they developed a software distribution and security solution.

At IKON Office Solutions, Bill was a Project Manager and successfully led a project consolidating recently acquired companies into standardized networks and infrastructure.

Bill began their career at Zeos Computers as a Factory Outlet Salesperson.
