Nicholas Dowson

Nicholas Dowson is an experienced software engineer and data specialist with a strong background in computer vision. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Cassini Systems since June 2021, Nicholas also holds the position of Senior Specialist for Data and Algorithms at Optellum, a role commenced in August 2017. Previously, Nicholas was a Team Leader and Senior Scientist at CSIRO from October 2008 to July 2017 and worked as a Research Scientist at Siemens Healthcare between September 2006 and September 2008. Nicholas holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Vision from the University of Surrey (2003-2006) and has completed the MITx MicroMasters Program Certificate in Finance through MITx on edX.
