Erica Reid is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in program development and implementation within the early childhood and community service sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Program Implementation at Friends of the Children since January 2018, Erica develops and executes program strategies that align with organizational goals. Previous roles included National Director of Programs and Program Director for Friends of the Children-Charlotte. In addition, Erica contributes as an Adjunct Instructor at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College in early childhood and K-12 teacher preparation programs. Other notable positions include Child Passenger Safety Consultant at Atrium Health and various roles at THOMPSON Child & Family Focus and PARTNERSHIP FOR CHILDREN OF JOHNSTON COUNTY. Erica holds a Bachelor of Science in Family and Community Services from East Carolina University, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership, Policy, and Advocacy in Early Childhood from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, as well as a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in College Teaching and Learning.
