Axel Reijmers

Axel Reijmers is a seasoned investment banking professional with extensive experience in private equity and venture capital. Currently serving as Managing Director at Castle Placement since July 2023, Axel Reijmers focuses on raising private capital and executing M&A transactions using data-driven technology. Between 2021 and the present, Axel has held various roles as a PE & VC investor, contributing to sectors such as Food & Agri, Medical, and Energy. Previously, Axel led investment banking and corporate development at Accendo Bank, facilitated a major management buyout at Royal Bank of Scotland, and executed corporate finance M&A strategies at the Royal Bank of Scotland Business and ABN AMRO across several global markets. Axel Reijmers holds a Master's degree in Economics and Business from the University of Groningen and has educational foundations from Leiden University and various high schools.
