Morten Halvorsen

Morten Halvorsen has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Morten started their career as an Apprentice in Chemistry and Operations at Statoil in 2006. After completing their apprenticeship, they became an Operations Technician, responsible for the Sleipner facility and involved in production optimization and training. In 2015, they transitioned to the role of Analyst Performance Management at Statoil, where they were responsible for financial tasks, controlling, and continuous reporting.

In 2014, Morten worked as a Summer Intern at Vault Dragon Pte Ltd, focusing on developing a financial model for expansion into new markets and conducting market research. Morten then moved on to Orkla Health in 2017 as a Business Controller, overseeing group reporting, financial responsibility for the Norwegian factory, and IT coordination.

In 2019, Morten joined Castolin Eutectic as the CFO of Castolin Trio AS, managing financial operations. Later on, they took on the role of Managing Director and Acting FD for the same company. Additionally, Morten has also worked as a Consultant at PwC and as a Student Assistant at NHH - Norwegian School of Economics in 2013.

Morten Halvorsen has a diverse and comprehensive education history. Morten began their academic journey in 2004 at Karmsund VGS, HMTS og Statoil, where they earned a Certificate of Completion in Chemistry and Operations in 2008.

In 2011, Morten enrolled at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree. During their undergraduate studies, they took advantage of an exchange program and spent a semester at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on Business Administration.

Continuing their educational pursuits, Morten returned to NHH for their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Business Analysis and Performance Management, which they completed in 2015. During their master's program, they also participated in an exchange semester at the National University of Singapore, where they delved into Entrepreneurship as part of the minor from Gründerskolen.

With their educational background reflecting a strong focus on business and analytical skills, Morten Halvorsen is prepared to excel in various professional settings.
