Sachin Sontakke

Sachin Sontakke currently serves as the India HSSE&C Advisor for Manufacturing and Projects at Castrol, where responsibilities include leading the environment, occupational health, safety, and carbon agenda for manufacturing plants and projects, while implementing EHS&C strategies to foster a strong safety culture. Previous roles include Sr. Manager HSSE at Castrol, achieving the International Safety Award from the British Safety Council, and Sr. Manager Corporate EHS at DIAGEO India, where strategic leadership was provided across multiple manufacturing sites. Sachin has also led fire and safety initiatives at GE Global Research, managed corporate EHS at ITC Limited, and supervised fire services at Tata Motors. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety Engineering from the Regional Labour Institute and a Bachelor of Fire Engineering from the National Fire Service College.
