Lauren Dennhardt

Lauren Dennhardt, PhD, currently serves as the Senior Director of Conservation at the Catalina Island Conservancy, managing a team focused on rare plant conservation, invasive species management, and restoration ecology. Previous roles include Assistant Professor at Valley City State University, where responsibilities encompassed teaching restoration ecology and plant systematics, and a Biology Instructor position at Concordia College. Lauren Dennhardt's academic journey includes a PhD in Biology from North Dakota State University, following a BA in Biology and Environmental Studies from the University of Minnesota Morris. Additionally, participation in the Beahrs Environmental Leadership Program at UC Berkeley and a Certificate in Complex Project Management from the Haas School of Business further enhances expertise in environmental leadership and project management.
