Christopher Porter

Christopher Porter has over 17 years of experience in risk management and actuarial consulting within the insurance and reinsurance sectors. Currently serving as the UK Chief Risk Officer at Catalina Re since December 2018, Christopher focuses on enterprise risk management for the UK legal entities and collaborates with the Group Chief Risk Officer on various risk initiatives across Europe, Bermuda, and the US. Previously, as a Consulting Manager at Accenture, Christopher supported re/insurance clients in regulatory change management and finance transformations. Christopher's earlier roles include Senior Risk and Actuarial Analyst at ACE Group, where responsibilities spanned risk appetite monitoring, ORSA, and model validation, and an Actuarial Consultant position at Travelers Insurance. Christopher holds a dual Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science and Statistics from Purdue University.
