Ocean Chiu

Ocean Chiu has extensive experience in the insurance and actuarial fields, currently serving as Vice President of Specialty Lines at Asia Capital Re since December 2011, with responsibilities as Assistant to the COO and Chairman. Prior roles include Manager of Pricing - Facultative, where pricing models for Property and Engineering businesses were developed and structured insurance solutions provided to corporate clients. Ocean Chiu previously worked at Allianz from 2005 to May 2011 as a Finance Actuary, focusing on Capital Modelling, insurance and market risk, and M&A projects. Shorter stints at PwC as a Manager and KPMG as a Vacationer further contributed to professional development. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Actuarial Studies from UNSW, complemented by the Fellowship from the Institute of Actuaries of Australia.
