Alan Ashworth

Alan Ashworth is a venture partner at Catalio Capital Management. Alan has also served as chief operating officer of Gem Diamonds Ltd from November 2007 to June 2016, head of operations of De Beers DBCM Ltd from April 2002 to January 2006, and assistant general manager of the Orapa & Lethlakane Mines from January 1990 to September 1994. Alan has also worked for the De Beers Pension Fund, Gold Fields Ghana, and Namdeb Namibia.

Alan Ashworth received their BSc in Mining Engineering from the University of Nottingham. Alan then attended Aylesbury Grammar School in the UK.
