David Segura

David Segura is a seasoned professional in the field of topography and cartography, currently serving as a co-founder at SOSTREMETRIES since October 2020, with a focus on altruistic research related to mountain elevation ambiguities. Additionally, David has been employed by the Generalitat de Catalunya since January 2016, working as a technician in the Department of Territory and Sustainability, primarily in the field of road safety and management of geotechnical assets. Previous experience includes a role as a topography engineer at Eptisa from 2007 to 2016, where key projects involved monitoring dam structures and providing training in topographic monitoring in Turkey. David also held positions as a technical topography engineer at FUS31 and GeoInformaticos, an instructor for a ski team, and contributed to significant tunneling and leveling projects with Infraplan Engineering Services. Academically, David holds degrees in Geomatics and Topography from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
