Marta Morera Marcé

Marta Morera Marcé serves as the Directora General d'Energia and Directora de l'ICAEN (Institut Català d'Energia) at the Generalitat de Catalunya since June 2021. Prior to this role, Marta worked at the Ajuntament de Rubí from September 2001 to June 2021, where responsibilities included leading projects aimed at enhancing industrial and commercial competitiveness through resource savings and energy efficiency, designing training programs for unemployed individuals to transition into the green economy, and managing environmental and renewable energy initiatives. Marta holds a Master's degree in Energy for Sustainable Development from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences from the Universitat de Girona.
