Matthias Kist

Matthias Kist has worked in the scientific field since 2013. Matthias began as a Student Research Assistant at IMMZ, Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau in 2013. In 2015, they took on a Student Intern role at Genentech. In 2016, they worked as a Master Student and Student Research Assistant at BIOSS Centre for Biological Signalling Studies. From 2017 to 2023, they worked at Genentech as a Graduate Student Researcher, performing experimental work for their PhD focusing on investigating the role of RIPK1 ubiquitination during TNF mediated signaling. Matthias is currently a Scientist at CatalYm GmbH.

Matthias Kist began their educational journey in 2011 when they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Molekulare Medizin from The University of Freiburg. Matthias then continued their studies at The University of Freiburg, graduating with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biochemistry and Biophysics in 2016. Matthias is currently in the process of obtaining a Dr. rer. nat. in Genetik from the University of Cologne, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
