Maria T. Khan

Maria T. Khan is a seasoned Research and Data Analyst II at Catalyst California, where collaboration with community organizations and governmental agencies focuses on equitable racial justice policy through data analysis and visualizations. As the Founder and Executive Director of Muslimahs In Policy, Maria leads initiatives to empower Muslim women in the fields of policy and civic engagement. Previous roles include Data Initiative Manager at Carnegie Mellon University, where management of extensive data studies enhanced diversity efforts, and Executive Coordinator at Stratiscope, where strategic community engagement was developed. Additionally, Maria's experience as a Public Affairs Fellow at Coro Southern California and a Research Assistant at UC Irvine highlights a strong foundation in public policy and sustainable development. Maria holds a Master's degree in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies with Honors from UC Irvine, complemented by a study abroad experience at the University of Virginia.
