April French is the current advisor at Catalyst Education. April has also worked with The College Consortium, Willo Labs, 101, Wild Bunch Brewing, Querium Corporation, and Macmillan Learning. April was the vice president of STEM digital strategy and later the president of STEM learning at Macmillan New Ventures. Before that, they were the founder and general manager of Sapling Learning from April 2005 to July 2014.
April French has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara. April is also certified from the Yale Center for Teaching and Learning as a Scientific Teaching Fellow.
