Derek Stevens

Derek Stevens is an experienced professional with a strong background in mechanical supervision, planning, and project management. Currently serving as Relief Superintendent for the Steam Plant and Utilities at Catalyst Paper since January 2012, Derek also held the role of Supervisor Planner for various mechanical operations. Prior experience includes a supervisory position at Alberni Engineering, overseeing mill projects with an average crew of 10-20 tradespersons, and a multifaceted role at Cowichan Hydraulics that encompassed planning, sales, and mechanical duties. Derek holds a Business Administration/Marketing Diploma from Camosun College, obtained between 1982 and 1985.
