Chris White is currently a Project Manager at Catamount Constructors, where they have worked for the past 9 years and 4 months. Prior to their current position, they held the titles of Sr. Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, and Project Engineer. In their current role, Chris is responsible for creating and updating schedules in P6, assisting with prefabrication design, leading safety meetings, conducting light risk management assessments, overseeing change orders from creation to accounting breakout, coordinating direction and working areas with other subs, reviewing weekly productivity and analyzing trends, and managing the QA/QC paperwork.
Before joining Catamount Constructors, Chris interned with MWH Constructors during the summer of 2011. This project was the expansion on the Central Weber Waste Water Treatment Plant. During their time there, Chris worked with the project manager as well as working alongside a couple different superintendents in the field overseeing piping, re-bar, concrete, and back filling operations.
After their internship with MWH Constructors, Chris interned with Whitehouse Maintenance-Repair as a Project Coordinator-Intern and Foreman-Intern before eventually being hired on full-time. Chris then spent 5 months interning with Adolfson & Peterson Construction before being hired by Catamount Constructors in 2012.
Chris White attended South Dakota State University from 2007 to 2011, earning a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. While at SDSU, Chris was a member of the Sigma Phi Delta fraternity and the Construction Management Organization. Chris also participated in the Joint Engineering Council. After graduation, Chris took a course in Construction Safety and Health through the Occupational Safety Health Administration, and a First Aid CPR AED course through the American Heart Association.
