Adrian Baez-Alicea

Adrian Baez-Alicea is a STEM Teaching & Learning Designer at Educurious, responsible for creating and implementing innovative, student-driven, and culturally sustaining learning experiences since July 2024. Currently serving as a National Facilitator at the National Center on Education and the Economy and as a S.T.E.M. Instructional Coach & PD Specialist with Catapult Learning since December 2022, Adrian previously worked as a Science Project Designer and Educator at High Tech High from August 2021 to March 2023, and as a Science Teacher with the NYC Department of Education from August 2017 to January 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Community Advocate at Cal Poly Humboldt from August 2013 to February 2016. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Secondary Education and Teaching from the Richard Gilder Graduate School at the American Museum of Natural History and a Bachelor of Arts in Geology/Geoscience from Humboldt State University.
